Who we are
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, i.e. name, email address and website URL if entered, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. The Gravatar service is not used on this site.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
The name and email address you enter in the contact form on the Contact page is retained indefinitely in case you wish to continue the conversation at a later date. Location, IP address and browser type are also retained for the purposes of security and to block any suspicious activity. This data is kept private, and is not shared or used for marketing purposes or added to an email list. It is only used for private communications between you and healingwellbeing.com.
If you would like your data and emails to be deleted from our records, simply send an email to me, the administrator at firstname.lastname@example.org
Optin Forms on Offers Pages
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Google Analytics is used to anonymously track user activity on this website using Google Tag Manager. Data collected includes pages visited, scroll depth, engagement time on page and links clicked.
Google Analytics Advertising Features is not enabled for this site, so we do not collect demographic data about our users and no Google advertising cookies are used.
Who we share your data with
Your data is not shared with any third party providers, besides anonymous browsing activity data sent to Google Analytics as mentioned above.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
What rights you have over your data
If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
How we protect your data
Data sent on healingwellbeing.com is sent over an encrypted connection with HTTPS connection using a valid, current SSL certificate. This site also employs HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) and has many high level of security measures in place (often lacking in many WordPress sites by the way) to minimize the chance of any hackers gaining access.
What data breach procedures we have in place
Suspicious activity such as repeated attempts to access non-public pages on this site or to login is logged and automatically blocked.
If, in the unlikely situation that unauthorized access is gained to data on this site, anyone who has left comments will be notified by email, with the suggestion update their password to a secure password. I recommend using a password manager like bitwarden or lastpass for secure password management (Most people have passwords that are too easy to hack and use a single password or variations of it for many different logins).
What third parties we receive data from
No data is received from third parties about users on this website.
Industry regulatory disclosure requirements
Since the content of this site related to health, a Medical Disclaimer is also provided.
